About

In a delayed celebration of my master’s degree (MATA from JFK) and acceptance of the fact that I’m really retired, I plan to spend much of my 60th year traveling. My initial thought was to circle the globe for a full year, a fantasy that took root on my first trip abroad after college. However, given family, pet, and other obligations, I’ve decided to take a series of long trips instead. At the suggestion of one of my friends (thank you Kelly) I’m starting this blog to share my experiences. I’m not sure where it will lead or how long it will last, but if you’re interested in a bit of armchair travel, feel free to check in periodically and see what I’ve been up to.
